MY LADY’S MANOR DRIVING CLUB  

ANOTHER DAY IN THE PARK

& POT LUCK SOCIAL

 

     Saturday, June 21, 2008 – 10 am-4 pm

  Spring Valley Park in Glen Rock, PA

 

MEMBERS ONLY!   NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!  

$10 per rig (passengers welcome but ALL must be members)

Registration must be postmarked by June 14, 2008

 

                

      RING ONE – Dressage practice area – Unfortunately Samea Baker will not be available

today to critique our tests, as she is judging that day…  Bring tests you want to practice. 

      RING TWO – Obstacle practice area – This ring will contain a lot of obstacles found in

Gamblers Choice and other non-cone obstacle classes.  Come try your luck!

      TRAILS – Maps of the Park grounds will be available.  We may drive any area where paths

have been mowed.  I PROMISE YOU CAN’T GET LOST.  We may also school any of

the MLMDC hazards.

 

All Activities available during the day – Pot Luck Social during the Lunch hour

PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON GRASS AT THE PARK!

 

Directions to Spring Valley Park: I 83, PA exit #8 Glen Rock (old exit #2), at end of ramp, go east on RT 216, take your first right on Potosi Rd, follow it for 2.2 miles (going through 2 stop signs) to Crest Rd, left on Crest Rd for a fraction of a mile to Park gates on right, turn right into Park & continue on to gravel surface.  Look for MLMDC signs.

Announcing 10th Annual The Mid Atlantic Recreational Driving Weekend

 

Thursday July 31 to August 3, 2008

Fair Hill Natural Resources Area, Fair Hill, Maryland

You must either be an ADS member, or a member of an ADS club to participate.

All participants must be registered in advance. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we have added an extra day; the weekend officially starts on Thursday !

 

Please read the information form and fill out registration form carefully. This weekend is run on a not for profit basis, you are charged what we need to pay Fair Hill and our other suppliers. The only fee we don’t know yet is for commemorative polos and T shirts, sure to be another collector’s item to add to your FH wardrobe. Estimated prices from $10 for T shirts, $25 polos.

CRAB FEAST & GENERAL MEETING

 

Sept 14, 2008 - 4 to 7 pm

Oregon Ridge Park, Hunt Valley, MD

$15 per person, $7 for children 12 & under

Registration must be postmarked by Sept 5

 

Sodas and Crabs will be provided

Bring a side dish or dessert to share

BYOB beer and wine (It is allowed in the park)

Children welcome...playground on site

Limit 80 people (get your registration in early)

 

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST SET UP FOR CRAB FEAST THIS YEAR.  EASY AND REWARDING WORK!  WE NEED 5-6 COMMITTED PERSONS TO PITCH IN.  CALL DEB COHEN AT 410-472-9158.  NEW MEMBERS PLEASE BE SURE NOT TO MISS THIS EVENT AND PITCH IN.

 

*Please be aware that if there is significant increase in market price of crabs in September, the Club may require an extra $5.00/person
