Entry Fee: $90.00 Entry Refund Policy: Full refund up to closing date with a veterinarian’s or doctor’s certificate. Stall Fee: $25.00, bring your own hay, limited stalls, all within 15 minutes of the grounds on the way from the hotel. Initial bedding provided. Contact organizer. No refund on stalls. You must submit a complete entry before stalls will be assigned.. Stall Deposit: $50. Separate check please. We will shred unless return requested. Make Checks Payable to MLMDC
Please include a copy of your ADS card with entry or a $30 non-member fee. Bring your ADS card to the show, you may be asked to present it to the secretary. Tentative Schedule
Stabling Open: Saturday, 10:00 AM Secretary’s Office Open: Saturday 3:00 PM Course Walk/Briefing: Saturday 4:00 PM Vet Checks: N/A Presentation: During Dressage Dressage: Sunday 8:30AM Marathon: Afternoon Cones: ½ hour after Dressage Veterinary & Health Information: Negative Coggins within 12 months Dressage times will be available from the Secretary by email and Friday evening between 6 and 9 pm.
DRESSAGE INFORMATION Dressage Tests Training Test #2 (1994), Preliminary Test #6 (2005), Intermediate Test #2 (1994) Arena: Stone Dust, slightly smaller than 40 x 80m, (3-loop serpentine)
MARATHON INFORMATION: Type of Terrain: Grass tracks, woods, fields, with moderately hilly topography, no water. Training: (up to 5 obstacles, 5 km) Preliminary: (up to 5 obstacles, 5 km) Intermediate: (up to 5 obstacles, 5 km)
CONES INFORMATION: Grass surface, clearance/speeds per ADS rules
Awards Offered: 1-6 per division, Overall Best Dressage for Training, Preliminary and Intermediate Divisions
Miscellaneous Information: ASTM/SEI approved helmet required on the marathon. Strongly encouraged: ADS armband or equivalent and ICE numbers in cell phone.
All dogs must remain on leashes ATV's may be allowed if ground conditions permit and we have park permission.
Accommodations: At least one of the stable areas will accommodate rough camping. Camping on grounds with permission from the park. Hampton Inn is the closest on I-83 in Shrewsbury, 717-235-9898 Others upon request.
Directions:
From I 83, Exit #8, Glen Rock. Go east on PA 216 to Potosi Road, 2.2 mi (through 2 stop signs) to CREST Road on the left. Park gates are a short distance on the right on Crest Road.
From Rt. 24, go down Apple Road in Winterstown, go left on Potosi Rd at the T intersection. Follow Potosi to Crest Road which will be on your right.
